1. Overview

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Neurobeat website, hardware, software and platform (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services you agree to these terms.

2. Not a medical device

Neurobeat hardware and software are intended for research, education and maker / hobbyist use. They are not medical devices, are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition, and must not be relied upon for medical purposes.

3. Accounts & registration

Some features (device management, over-the-air updates, remote access to logs) require an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account.

4. Your data

Neurobeat is designed so your raw signal data can stay local to your own network. Where the platform processes account or telemetry data, it does so to provide the Services. [FILL IN] Link to your Privacy Policy and describe what is collected.

5. Hardware, safety & batteries

Follow all included safety guidance. Neurobeat devices are battery-powered and are not charged over USB; charge battery packs only with an appropriate charger. Each device may hold a private key — before discarding a device, unlink it from your account, as data encrypted by the device can otherwise become inaccessible.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Services, including attempting to disrupt them, infringing others’ rights, or using the hardware in unsafe or unlawful ways.

7. Warranty & liability

The Services are provided "as is" to the maximum extent permitted by law. [FILL IN] Insert your warranty terms, limitation of liability, and any consumer-rights carve-outs required in your jurisdiction.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing law

[FILL IN] Specify the governing law and jurisdiction, and the legal entity that operates Neurobeat.
